Thank you for showing your love for Beaver Lake with our photos! Here are some tips and information for a successful order:
- Think about and measure the location that you want your photo to hang so that you can order an appropriate size.
- Browse or talk to your local hobby store or frame store to see what frame sizes are common. Common frame sizes will have more material and finish options for you to choose from. Photos from this website can be ordered in many different sizes. Some of the photos will be cropped in order to fit the frame size that you desire. Use the “Crop/Edit” button during the order to check and adjust any cropping that might be necessary for your size.
- Plan ahead if you choose to use a mat around your photo and consider how this will effect your frame size.
Q: How long will it take to receive my prints?
A: Processing and printing will take around 4-5 days. You will then need to add the shipping time onto that, which depends on which shipping option you chose during checkout. Each picture is custom printed for you, in the size and finish that you desire, and that process takes some time.
Q: Will there be a "Beaver Lake Photography" logo, text, or watermark on the print that I receive?
A: No, watermarks are used on this website for copyright protection only. They will not appear on the picture that you receive.
Q: What are the photo paper/finish options and which should I choose?
A: Photo prints can be ordered on Lustre or Glossy finished paper. Glossy is a very smooth, shiny finish that has vivid colors and shows image contrast well. The downside of a Glossy finish is that it can show fingerprints easily and it reflects light strongly. Lustre finish is sometimes called "semi-gloss" and is between a matte (dull) finish and a glossy (shiny) finish. Lustre does not show finger prints as much and it reflects less light (reflected glare is less of an issue). The trade-off is that Lustre prints have slightly less vibrant colors and slightly less sharpness. The differences between the two print papers is not huge and you will enjoy our photos printed on either.
Q: Do you ship outside of the United States?
A: No, We’re sorry but we only ship to locations inside the US.
Step-by-step how to order:
1. View pictures on the "Photos" page.
2. View individual photos in a larger size by clicking on them.
3. When you find a picture that you want to purchase, click on the shopping cart icon.
4. You may have your photo printed in many different sizes. Click on "Shop all products", then "Prints", and then "Buy This Photo" (you will not be charged at this stage of the purchase process). The next page will allow you to view all of the sizes that can be selected. Click the drop down menu at the top center of the screen to view them. Select the print size that you want to receive. Note: Panorama pictures can only be printed in sizes that do not crop the original photo.
5. Important!: Click the "Crop/Edit" button below your picture. This will allow you to adjust the cropping of your photo. If the original picture has the same proportions as the size you need, no cropping will occur. If cropping is necessary, you will be able to adjust the portion of the picture that will be printed. Only the part of the picture that is inside of the blue box will be printed. Click "Apply" when you're satisfied with the cropping of your print.
6. Choose the paper type that you would like (lustre or glossy).
7. Click "Add to Cart".
8. Click "Done" and continue adding photos to your cart until you are ready to check out and pay.
9. Click the cart icon in the upper right corner of the screen to check out.
10. Check and edit your purchases if necessary.
11. Click "Checkout" and fill in the necessary information to complete your purchase.
12. You will receive an order confirmation email when your checkout is complete.
